NC ZOO Dinosaurs and 4D Ice Age

Memorial Day brought us the perfect opportunity for a family outing, and we decided to spend it at the NC Zoo in Asheboro, NC. The weather was delightful, setting the stage for a fantastic day at the zoo. We got an early start, which allowed us to explore the entire park at our leisure. Our adventure began on the Africa side, where we embarked on a memorable journey.

One of the highlights of our visit was the chance to see the new dinosaur exhibit. I must say, it’s absolutely worth the extra cost to walk through this prehistoric wonderland. The lifelike dinosaurs and immersive environment captivated our imaginations and made the experience truly worthwhile. It’s a fantastic addition to the zoo.

Another highlight was the 4-D Ice Age movie. While it’s not a full-length film, it captures key moments of the Ice Age movie in a 4-D format. My kids were enthralled, and it was a unique cinematic experience for all of us. If you’ve never been to a 4-D screening, you’re missing out on a great time. Since we enjoyed both the dinosaur exhibit and the 4-D movie, I decided to purchase two fun passes, priced at $6 each. Not only did they enhance our visit, but they also saved us $12 in the process.

If you’re on the lookout for a fantastic family destination, I highly recommend a trip to the NC Zoo in Asheboro, NC. It’s an exceptional family attraction that offers something for everyone to enjoy. Even if you’re not in North Carolina, consider visiting your local zoo and planning a family day filled with adventure and wildlife. I want to clarify that this is not a sponsored or paid post; I simply have a deep appreciation for the zoo. When was the last time you explored your local zoo?
