For Thanksgiving, my family went down to Southport, NC. My mother-in-law recently moved down there, and we wanted to spend Thanksgiving with her. Thanksgiving day was really great. I helped in the kitchen, and so did my daughter. Here’s a picture of my daughter with her “Little” Grandma.
The day after Thanksgiving, before making the long drive home, I spent some time with my mother-in-law, Mary Ann, exploring Southport, NC. It is really pretty down there. I’ll post more about it during the week.
One place that she took me was to the Olde Southport Village off of Howe Street. Mary Ann has opened a little studio there, just in time for the holidays. She is such a great photographer. She can even get great pictures of my son, which is extremely hard to do.
If you live in, or near, Southport, NC, mark December 8 on your calendar. Mary Ann is doing Christmas Portraits and cards from 9-12 and 1-4. Bring your family in to get your pictures taken with Santa.
