(Concord, NC) (Press Release)The first-ever Lionel and Lionel NASCAR Collectables joint warehouse sale will be held on December 1, 2012 just in time for the holidays. This inaugural event will take place at Lionel’s warehouse at 6301 Performance Drive in Concord, North Carolina, near Charlotte Motor Speedway. Doors will open at 8 a.m., with the sale lasting until 5 p.m. Goodie bags, valued at $30, will be given to the first 100 customers through the door.
The sale will offer deep discounts on a variety of electric trains and die cast products , including ready-to-run train sets, open stock, track pieces, scratch and dent product and NASCAR die-cast Plus, Lionel’s own train display will be set up for everyone’s enjoyment.
Peter Burgess, Senior VP of Marketing for both Lionel companies, noted, “Lionel trains are such a part of the holiday tradition for parents of today’s young children. We felt displaying these train sets for all to enjoy would make this warehouse sale a worthy holiday destination for our local families, and perhaps start a new tradition for the next generation.”
Parents are encouraged to bring their kids to what will surely be a unique holiday celebration. Strollers are welcome and ample parking is available adjacent to the warehouse. (All purchases final. Cash and credit cards accepted.)
