Are you planning a vacation this winter? Have you been to the Mississippi Gulf Coast yet? Well, now is the time to plan your family vacations to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. They have some great events coming up this winter. One in particular caught my attention.
Sun & Sand: The Mississippi Film & Music Festival
New to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the Sun & Sand Festival will celebrate music and film from November 7 – 11, 2012 across multiple venues along the Coast. The Festival has recently signed Kevin Costner and Modern West to perform. Date and time to be announced.
I love Kevin Costner, don’t you? There’s another event coming up that I know my husband would love. It’s a classic car and hot rod festival. My husband loves antique cars, and is always wanting to take me to classic car shows around here.
16th Annual Cruisin’ the Coast
Known as America’s Largest Block Party, Cruisin’ the Coast, October 7–14, is a festival celebrating antique, classic and hot rod vehicles as they cruise the 30-mile stretch of beachside highway on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Over 5,000 registered vehicles from 30 states and Canada will cruise from venue to venue between Bay St. Louis to Ocean Springs where drivers and spectators will be greeted with live bands, as well as food and merchandise vendors.
The Mississippi Gulf Coast has a lot of fun outdoor vacations opportunities. They have some great vacation packages that you can take advantage of. You can stay at a hotel, or go camping. You can take advantage of a fishing package, or pick a shopping vacation package. Whatever you feel like doing, now is the time to plan your visit to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
