Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC Upcoming Events

In 1889, Geaorge Vanderbilt hired two designers to begin a project that took over six years to complete.  Architect Richard Morris Hunt and landscape designer Frederick Law Olmsted constructed a four-story stone house and ornamental gardens that has become a popular North Carolina tourist destination known at the Biltmore Estate, located in Asheville, NC.

Mr. Vanderbilt’s vision and inspiration lives to this day. We receive more than one million guests every year at our 8,000-acre estate, with more than 1,700 employees ready to make each guests visit special. Our other offerings include Biltmore Wine; a line of Biltmore-inspired home furnishings, home building products, and outdoor living and garden items; and our four-star Inn on Biltmore Estate. – Biltmore
