I had a busy weekend. I went bowling on Saturday and Sunday, with the family. The kids weren’t interested in playing, though. My son spent his time at the jukebox, and my daughter played in the game room. My husband and I really enjoyed playing together. Saturday, we also had a Spiderman Birthday Party to attend.
My friend’s son turned five, and he loves Spiderman. It was a nice party, and I don’t think I cheated on my diet too bad. She served pizza to everyone, and I was hungry. I took a really small piece, took off the toppings and cheese, and took off the end crust. That left me a small piece of crust with a little sauce. Since I had not eaten any carbs that day, I figured I could get away with this little piece.
I worked outside in the yard, with my husband, on Sunday. I made a deal with him. I would mow the yard, and he could take care of the dishes and laundry. I so need to work on my upper arm strength. We have a push mower, and there is a huge patch of grass that is really thick. The mower doesn’t want to cut it. I had to use my whole body to push the mower over the thick grass. It took me twice the amount of time to mow than what it takes my husband. And, I didn’t do all of the yard. My arms just gave up. I ended up turning it over to my husband. I did a lot, and I did the hardest part. However, I still ended up doing the dishes and laundry.
