No camping trip is complete without grilled hamburgers. This recipe was provided by Prescott Frost and uses their 100% organic, grass-fed beef. I have not tried this recipe, but will be doing so soon. They are sending me some to sample, and I will be writing a review for them.
Cheddar Grass-Fed Beef Burgers
1 pound ground Prescott Frost 100% organic, grass-fed beef 1/3 cup finely chopped red onion 2 ounces sharp cheddar 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Canola oil cooking spray (optional)
Combine beef, onion, cheddar, mustard, salt and pepper in a large bowl and form into four (4-inch) patties. Grill over medium heat or broil, flipping once, until done to your taste (approximately 6 to 8 minutes). Or, spray a large skillet with cooking spray and cook over medium heat, 6 to 8 minutes.
